Marking of exam, assignment and test papers
I've noticed that even when our answers are similar to those on the memo, we're not getting the marks we expect. I understand that there needs to be some consistency in marking, but I think it's unfair that we're being penalized for not having answers that are word-for-word identical to the memo. As students, we work hard and pay a lot of money to attend Impaq. It's frustrating to feel like our marks are being held back because of overly strict marking. I hope you can look into this and consider changing the way our exams are marked. It would be really helpful if we could get some clarity on what's expected of us. I LOVE being an Impaq student, but I'm not happy about the way you guys mark our papers.

Impaq marks strictly in line with SACAI rules and regulations. The strict marking is in line with what you can expect from the Grade 12 final examinations. It gives you an accurate representation of what your marks will be.
You are always welcome to reach out to *** and ask for feedback from our subject specialists who can either assist with the rewarding of marks or can explain to you why the answer was not accepted.
Kind regards,
Impaq
