Impaq does not care about the law! or our children!

Impaq is hindering children's education and breaking the law with their policies. My daughter has been with Impaq for 2 years, she completed her grade R, and Gr1 with them, everything paid! Last year during the start of COVID I lost my business and income and was not able to pay her Gr2 fees (I am sure I am not the only parent) this year I decided to go with another online school, because of the costs, and online classes they offer. I made peace with the fact that she will have to repeat her Grade 2 this year. When I emailed Impaq to obtain her Gr1 final report (which was paid in full) I received a reply from Impaq that they refuse to give it to me because Gr2 (2020) fees are outstanding. The law provided in Section 29 (12) on the National protocol on Assessments, prohibits the withholding of school reports for any reason. No school, public or independent can withhold a report but can use the normal forms of debt collection. This is unacceptable to hinder a child from education! I offered to start payment of the outstanding fees as soon as I am financially able, but this was also ignored! I will also be reporting Impaq to the Department of Education, and the Independent Complaints Directorate. All that I need is the Gr1 report, those fees were paid in full! Your excuse to withhold a report of a year that was paid in full does not make any legal sense. You are hindering children for completing their education.
