Unhappy about Impact meters poor service and arrogance
I have had the worst service from Impact meters ever. I had my electricity and water Account activated on 06/01/2023, Before reconnection I paid an amount of R5183.49 which according to my last statement was confirmed as the amount owed. I was made to recomplete an application form and send all my identification documents which I did. I then asked for a break down of what the amount I had already paid will be used for as the account was already closed before I could pay, but a statement which explained nothing was just sent to me and the agent responded to my email confirming the whole amount will be used as deposit and nothing is refundable. The electricity was reconnected on 09/01/2023 and no further communication was received from Impact meters. I am now receiving a last "Friendly warning letter" on 08/02/2023 that I need to pay the reconnection fee of R 764.95 before 15/02/2023 to avoid being disconnected, My query is that no communication was ever sent to me regarding the reconnection fee since January, not even when I specifically asked for a breakdown of what is needed from me to reconnect my electricity, their now received statement shows that the money I paid on 31/12/2022 R5183.49 was only moved to the account on 25/01/2023 and still then no one bothered to communicate that there is any reconnection fee payable by end of January 2023.I spoke to a couple of the agents to state my case as I do not have the funds asked of me at this time of the month, but they confirmed there is nothing they can do for me; Nadine on 08/01/2023 and Maria on 10/02/2023, The managers are either in meetings and cant take calls or they just sent agents back with the answer that there is nothing that can be done for me, No one seems to care about your position as the client, I will not be suprised either if this query will also not be responded to like all the others I see.
