The most difficult thing to leave in SA when you leave SA

Let Meeeeeee Entertain You:

So we were in the process of immigrating to a different country when we realized it might be a good idea to sort out our Impact Meters account since we will not be able to when we are out of the country. Great so we get everything sorted and switch the account to the new tenant and everything seems fine...

4 months later: I get an email saying we owe R1540 something, from debt collectors. Okay, I figure maybe I missed something and lets try sort it out. Being in different time zones it is quite difficult to communicate, 1-2 emails per day on average, before they usually get off work in SA. Oh and I am not waking up at 2am to receive emails from a possible *******. so I struggle on and land up with 4 different invoices each for different amounts ranging from R700 to R1540. Finally the last invoice I get get from them is for R660 and I agree to pay because this person is really irritating me (and confusing me honestly at this point I just want to get this whole story over with so that I can carry on with my life). So I send a reply requesting banking details so that I can make payment and settle the account.

*Bam* Silence for a week *Bam*

2am - I get a new Email, and almost shat my pants (because my phone is next to my bed which at that point in my wonderful abyss of sleep was when I had my head reasonably close to the bedside table). This time its an email from a different person requesting an amount of R1150. at this point it seems like something more fishy than Fish&ChipsCo. was going on. So I figure lets go have a look how many people have been spammed by this "Impact Meters" first thing to come up on Google "HelloPeter - Impact Meters Is A Spam"... Anyhow I now figure okay there are so many bad reviews maybe this company is real and that they are just the worst at following through with their customers and client service because well either you join them or you sit without water and electricity.

So I'm in two minds about how bad this company is or how persistent these ******** are, and I keep asking myself, "why is the invoice changing the whole time?" So I ask for proof the one thing a spammer will, without a doubt, have... Think about it, this company has no structure (and probably no file management system) so If I get a reply and there is an attachment with proof that didn't take 3 days to find, I know it's a spam. At least this is how I see it. So I reply to them with this question...

Will there be an answer? Is this really a useless company?? Why am I asking so many questions??? Stay tuned for the next episode of: "the most difficult thing to leave in SA when you leave SA"

So after struggling to get a reply from them I am getting nowhere. They have now pushed the amount up to R1308 and threatened with influencing our credit rating. We have sent mails and requested proof of this and they just keep pushing the amount up. Anyone know the CEO's number?
