Service fee??
It is a nuisance to buy Unipin prepaid electricity @ Spar. You need to swipe twice (you can't pay for goods and prepaid in one transaction). It is RIDICULOUS. The only way to buy it online is via IMPACT METERS' bank account, as they own the meter. I can't find the rates online either. R100 equals 66.5 kWh. Why can I not make a direct payment to UNIPIN? If IMPACT owns the meter, why are they not supplying their own electricity? I don't get this. It makes no sense. I was told they are charging me, the tenant, a service fee. Service fee for what? Do not be fooled. Electricity is cheaper on a Tshwane bill. At least you get charged on a sliding scale.
