Poor customer service

My electricity was terminated around 14h26 on 20 September 2017. Before making the payment, I sent an email to 'Simone Prinsloo' ********** which read: "Please advise whether you will reconnect the electricity if I make a payment from Absa/Capitec, which won’t be available immediately because the payment is to a different bank. Following that, I will then send proof of payment?

She then responded at 16h15 with the following: "Once we received proof of payment we let the technician know to switch on the electricity even if the payment will only reflect a day or two later. Unfortunately, we cannot send switch on’s to the technician after 4pm. If we received the proof of payment tomorrow we can reconnect the electricity tomorrow.

Because her response was delaying. I contacted their call centre ( ********** ; ********** ; ********** ; ********** ) and spoke to a gentleman who said I can go ahead and make a payment, they might reconnect my electricity. which I did and tried to call them back. The phone was being directed to ext 5001, which was hung up by the person on the other side. I have been calling since after 16h00 for about an hour, with the phone being cut.

I am very disappointed by the level of service from Impact Meter Services. I understand, I was in arrears with R500 but it does not mean I don't deserve assistance when needed. I will be without electricity this night and it's really bad when you have an infant at home, and you have no electricity. After trying to reach out to the service provider, for about an hour with no help.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.
