Poor communication and disgusting service.
Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Prepaid Service Disruption and Email Communication Issues Impact Meter Services Office, Block B, 314 Glenwood Road The, Lynnwood Park, Pretoria, 0183 Dear Impact meters
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the quality of service I have received from your company. My name is Sediapelo Matlhakoane and my account number with your service is 578507
I recently encountered a series of issues that have not only inconvenienced me but also left me feeling extremely dissatisfied as a customer. Firstly, I have consistently faced difficulties with the email communication from your end. Despite bringing the matter to your attention on multiple occasions, my statements continued to be sent to an incorrect email address. This oversight has compromised the security and privacy of my account information. Moreover, the most distressing aspect of my experience occurred when my prepaid service was abruptly blocked, despite having made payments. This disruption has caused significant inconvenience, and I am deeply troubled by the lack of responsiveness and resolution from your customer service team. I must emphasize that I have contacted your customer service representatives on several occasions, both through phone calls and emails, to rectify these issues. Unfortunately, the responses I have received have been inadequate and have not addressed the core problems. Additionally, I am compelled to express my concern that this situation may be indicative of a larger problem, as it appears that I am being subjected to subpar service due to reasons beyond a simple error. I sincerely hope that this is not a case of racial bias, as such ************** is entirely unacceptable and goes against the principles of fair and equal treatment. To provide context, I recently discovered that my deposit was increased without any prior notification. Upon further investigation, it became apparent that emails regarding this matter were sent to an incorrect email address, which contributed to my lack of awareness. While I understand that errors can occur, the failure to communicate such a crucial change adequately is highly disappointing. After rectifying the email address issue, I received my statement for the first time on 14/11/2023, indicating an outstanding amount of R1263. On the same day, I promptly made a payment of R500 and communicated my intention to settle the remaining balance of the bill on 25/11/2023 when I receive my salary. To my dismay, I received an SMS today (22/11/2023) informing me that my meter has been blocked. This situation is entirely unacceptable, and it reflects a severe failure in your company's communication and customer service processes. It is disheartening that despite my efforts to address the outstanding amount promptly, my meter has been blocked without any reasonable explanation. I must stress that this issue could have been entirely avoided if someone on your side had efficiently performed their duties and updated my details in a timely manner. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience and stress, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the level of service I have received. I also request a detailed breakdown of the outstanding amount and an explanation of how it was calculated. Additionally, I would appreciate clarification on the measures that will be taken to prevent a recurrence of this situation. Can you guys please unblock my meter PLEASE I expect a prompt and comprehensive response to this complaint and a resolution that reflects a commitment to improving your customer service. Sincerely, Sediapelo
