IMPACT METRES ********
I moved to The Oval since March 2020. Below is the bills they are charging in spite of me using the same appliances since a month before and only paying on average R800 PER A MONTH for the last 3 years in my previous complex which is 2 kms away. Prior to that I lived in another unit run by Impact Metres and paid on average R400 a month for electricity using the very same appliances.
I have ben emailing and calling and they are just brushing me off with no solution and telling me that the usage has passed the metre. If I dispute there reading I must pay to get a technician out from them and only if there is a fault they will reimburse the difference.
Bill 1 - March statement: R1497.08 PAID Bill 2 - April statement : R2935.23 PAID ( REALISED THERE IS AN ISSUE ) Bill 3 - May statement : R3213.66 ( DID NOT PAY AS REALISED THESE ******** ARE JUST TAKING ME FOR A LUCK Bill 4 - June statement : R6737.83 ( TODAYS BILL )
The owner fitted a pre paid electricity metre and on average its consuming R100 a day for credits.
From the 24 June 2020 I have already topped up R1600 worth of electricity and now sitting with 221 units which would not make it to the end of the week.
Something needs to be done as in these tough economic times there is still ************ business practices that get away with robbing the average person on the street who has is tied by a lease agreement and no support from the owner or Remax agent to solve this issue.
UNHAPPY CLIENT AND HOPE TO NEVER EVER HAVE ANY DEALINGS IN FUTURE WITH IMPACT METRES
