High electricity bill

I have a big problem with impact meters because I have received a very high electricity bill last month which is impossible and another R 3000 for this month. My billing is never more than R 1900 and in just one month the amount jumps to R 4000. I went to their office and they were not able to help me. I took al my meter readings from January 2022 with me but it seemed to me that the person that I approach with my complaint was not capable to try to solve the problem and just said that the meter need to be tested for which I have to pay R780. I send my meter reading every month and uses electricity sparingly.
