Bad Experience - Dissatisfied Customer
Right from the onset, I had trouble with securing my Ikhokha Solo unit. My purchase was made on the Money Counters website who I believe are a distributor of Ikhokha machines. It appears that the registration of said unit was complicated for whatever reason because of the fact that it was via a distributor. NOT MY PROBLEM!. Ikhokha must get their distribution streamlined.
Upon receiving the unit, the FICA and RICA processes took 10 days to complete. Upon completion the sim card which had been functional (albeit not activated) - for the strangest reason - stopped functioning!! After making an enquiry, Ikhokha came back to me 2 days later to inform me that Vodacom had deleted the card off their network. Ikhokha then assured me that they would send me a replacement. At this point I was now out of the country on business, and I asked that they then make the delivery arrangements with my wife. This was not done. I got back into the country after a whole week away and even then, nothing was delivered.
Another 9 days go by!! I get a message from RAM Couriers that they are on their way to me. So, I thought "Happy Days, I am finally getting somewhere". Alas this was not to be!! The courier was actually here to make a collection from me!! There had been no communication from Ikhokha prior to this on what collections was to be made. I assume they had sent for collection of the now worthless piece of plastic 'sim card` that I needed replacement on. So obviously the courier went back empty handed because i did not have anything on me - obviously!
So, at the time of this review, i am almost a month in and I have still not had resolution to my Ikhokha problem!
