Bad experience
If I could give a -5 rating I would. Between Ayanda Mwelase, Courtney Naidoo and Devina Naidoo, and a few times I have phoned into the call centre, iKhokha must tell us if they want to be in acquiring business or ***** people’s money?? This is the worst customer services I have experienced; how does a refund take more than 3 months? and agents deny ever speaking to you about a matter? I ordered an iKhokha machine which was delivered on the 16 September. I tried to activate it, but it was blocked, I phoned the call centre and was told that I would be sent more information on what's required to activate it. I received an email from Ayanda Mwelase on September 18 asking for a long list of documents, I told Ayanda that I wouldn't be able to provide proof of address because I live with my partner and iKhokha doesn't accept affidavits, I asked for an alternative to what is acceptable and she told me I need to go to the municipality to get it, to which I advised that I would not be able to do that and that I would like to return the machine and get my refund, this was on Sept 29th, thats when I sent an email to Ayanda. I even sent her a bank confirmation of the purchase on email on the 29th September. On the 30 Sept I sent the proof of transaction to Courtney Naidoo who was referred to me by Ayanda. I followed up on email to Courtney on the 7th October, 28 October, to which there was no response still. I phoned into the iKhokha call centre on the 26/27 October, and I spoke to a gentlemen, I dont remember his name, it was maybe Khanya if my memory serves me correctly, and he said he'd escalate the matter to Courtney because she was already dealing with it. Even after this call, no one called me or dealt with the matter. In December I phoned into the call centre, and Devina was the agent I spoke to, she mentioned that Courtney is on maternity leave, how did no one know this when I phoned in previously?????? After the back and forth with Devina she said iKhokha will not refund me because its been more than 30 days since I asked for a refund...that doesnt even make sense given that I had been asking for this refund since September when I engaged with Ayanda and Courtney????
On top of that, Ayanda phoned me one day and denied any communication between herself and I where I asked for a refund, I literally have multiple emails that I have sent to her and to Courtney. And a phone call to another agent. On Dec 9th, RAM came to collect the device, so if RAM is collecting the device, then why is Ikhokha still not refunding me my R699 for the machine I paid? Its 2026 January and I have not heard from them and they still haven’t refunded me.
