they are robbing me my deposit

I have rented an apartment for two years, They have apartment in Pretoria Annlin, name is Protea Village. Many people who bought those apartment are selling due to poor quality of building ,tiles etc and high electricity and water costs.

I did not worry much about the quality because I was renting , but problem started when the body Corporate want me to leave , they did not want my dog, but the complex is full of dogs and cats.

After two years of renting , I decided to give them notice to vacate because I was getting bad treatment from Body Corporate. They installed a spotlight in front of our gate, we complained nothing was done . They accepted my notice and informed me my deposit will be processed with 7/14 days.

When we have to get the deposit , they informed us that we wont get our deposit because they didn't find a person to rent for one month of our notice.

What happened to our deposit? the interest they got for two years ,who took them?

They told us to fix the apartment so that we can get our deposit. after fixing the apartment with our money. they told us we cant get the money.

I am warning any person who might tempted to rent in Protea Village , Fynbos etc all those apartment owned and managed by IGrow in Annlin. Do not , you will regret.
