I-Grow Worst Agency Ever!

My partner and I were previous tenants of Kleijne Wingerd Estate in Kuils-River. Our agent was Crystal Leetion.

We have had the worst experience regarding our deposit refund! We moved out on the 31st of March 2025, we had our outgoing inspection, and both us and the outgoing inspection guy took photo's and videos of the apartment. Once done the guy informed us that everything is in order and Igrow should receive his updates and forward us the inspection. He mentioned that there are no damages (we also have proof). On the 1st of April 2025 the new tenant was moved in.

After two days we sent our first email notice to enquiry about our deposit return, and Crystal did not reply. We gave her two days to respond, and yet still no reply. According to SA-Law a deposit should be refunded within 7 days if no damages (which there weren't) or 14 days if there were.

Note: No incoming inspection was done by them, we have proof so we should in any case receive our full deposit as per law. After 10 days we received no email response after 3 consecutive follow up emails and numerous calls and messages left.

Today, when we decided that we are fed-up, we took it to social media and commented on every single post about our experience. Finally a Louise replies giving some BS excuse about changes and delays and a lot of apologies.

We told them we are not interested in apologies and we want our refund to be sorted out in the next hour. We are still waiting and we are laying a complaint at RTO.

Aspiring new tenants this is a warning. Igrow only cares about filling up apartments and after that they are bad with communication, worse in responding to maintenance problems and so forth. Stay far away! They do not have any respect or concern for their tenants! Bunch of ******!
