DO NOT RENT AT THE AURA – BEAUTIFUL APARTMENTS, TERRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS

I have been living at The Aura Apartments, managed by IGrow, and I am honestly exhausted by the ongoing problems.

Today, we had no electricity for the entire day, with no proper communication or updates from management. What makes this even more frustrating is that these electricity outages happen repeatedly. We also experience frequent water cuts, sometimes lasting for days.

These apartments are not cheap. Residents pay substantial rental costs, yet we cannot even rely on basic necessities such as water and electricity. The lack of communication from management is equally unacceptable. Residents are left wondering what is happening and when services will be restored.

It is particularly disappointing that this can happen on a Sunday, when people are at home, trying to rest, spend time with their families, do laundry, cook and prepare for the week ahead. It feels as though residents' wellbeing and convenience simply do not matter.

The Aura may look beautiful, but the reality of living here is completely different. I have lived in Johannesburg for many years and this is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.

IGrow needs to take these complaints seriously and provide reliable infrastructure, proper backup systems and, most importantly, consistent communication with paying residents.

Residents deserve better than this.
