Bad treatment and refusal by owner of the unit I am renting from with agent Gerhard Wilson from IGrow to fix their broken toilet air ventilation extractor.

I moved into a unit in Lombardy meander complex by IGrow on the 30th of June and there were a couple of things wrong with the unit. I had to chase after Gerhard Wilson to get things fixed in the unit to the extent that I wanted to cancel my contract and I was assured things will be sorted out. Some things were sorted out after I sent an email of cancelling my August rent debit order except for the ventilation extractor in the bathroom.

IGrow maintenance department Anthea Amansure response to my emails about the problem is: it is the tenants responsibility to clean and take care of the ventilator therefore it will be of the Tennant's account to fix it, which is infuriating as I am a new tenant and did not break the extractor. The worst part is that the bathroom does not have a window so how does one live in a flat with a bathroom that has absolute no ventilation. I have cc'd the rental manager in the emails and explained I found the extractor not working which the agent, Gerhard Wilson, who rented me this unit is aware of and I am still being ignored.

Since the day I have moved in 30 June 2020 I have gotten horrible treatment and no service at all.

Karen Grobler the property manager is not helpful at all and is forever unavailable.

I am so appalled and regret renting from IGrow. One can't even get hold of anyone at IGrow because everyone is always unavailable and they keep saying send an email.

I am disgusted right now.

I am appalled by this treatment and I just want out. This is really unacceptable.
