Bad experience with Igrow Wealth Investments
********* business practices, some of the staff lack integrity and are motivated by greed, especially Kari van Wyk. The apartment we leased from them had terrible mould and water damage on the bedroom wall, which negatively affected our health, especially that of my son.
Kari from IGrow delayed the repairs which never occurred until we moved out, as our health deteriorated. She claimed the damage was repaired, when it was not, threatened to withhold our deposit if we moved out despite our health deteriorating cause of the damage. She did not want us to move out even though the living conditions were not conducive for us to remain at the property.
They wanted us to choose between our son's health and losing our deposit, they knew we could not continue risking our son's life because of their greed. Moved out and she withheld a huge portion of our deposit. A few people did warn me about Igrow Properties underhanded tricks of withholding tenants' deposits.
I do not recommend Igrow Wealth Investments to anyone, people should rather use IHS, Balwin Properties and other reputable companies.
We have investigated this matter on our side and found that the mold was not reported to our office as no maintenance ticket have been logged or email sent. The problem was reported only once the interim inspection has been done on 07 September 2021.
On 5 October 2021 you gave notice to move out by the end of October 2021. The contract you signed was until 30 September 2022. Due to the early termination and breaching of contract you were held liable for 7 days pro-rata rent until the next tenant could move in.
Due to the unit being dirty, a professional cleaning company had to be paid in order to ensure the flat is clean and ready to be occupied by the new tenants. Proof can be found on the exit inspection signed off by yourself and the inspector.

I have email correspondence between myself and Igrow where the matter was reported, and Igrow delayed by claiming that the maintenance ticket expired and a new one must be logged. I did that but no feedback was received, was ignored while living in unhealthy living conditions.
Kari **** in an email, she claimed the damage was fixed when it was not, I have evidence to this regard. It was not only mould but water damage as a result of a burst pine or rain (liking wall).
