Very unprofessional and bad customer service skills

I work for one of the companies that has entered into the aggreement with Iemas and mineworkers pensioin fund. The aggreement allows employees to access their pension funds only if they want to either build or buy a house or renovate your home. I have been working for over 7 years and my pension looks good. I recently bought a house and i was required to pay a R127 000 deposit. I went to my employer who said i must arrange everything through Iemas.

I completed all relavent documentations and send them to IEMAs for pensioin backed loan which will be paid back through salary deduction. Initially they responded saying they dont have any relationship with my company.

When i enquired, Lilian Mahuma asked me to resubmit the documents. Within minutes i got a credit enquiry notifications and Lilian sent an email saying my application was declined based on affordability. No explanation on how they came to the decision and i tried calling her several times and leaving messages but she never came back to me. Two days after she sent an email asking me to send my wife payslips so that she try joint application, maybe i might qualify. This didn't make sense either.

Here is my situation. According to transunion, I am only using 38% of my pay to pay debts and my credit score is over 740 and i not blacklisted or on review of some sort. My debt to salary ratio is very low and all other major banks approved me for loan except Iemas. I went to Iemas because of the garanteed surity which is my pension and interest for such loans are low and you can pay back over long period.

I couldn't believe that they try to block me from securing the house. failing to pay the deposit was cause me to forfeit the house. They are very quick to grant loans and vehicle finance but theycannot even apply their minds when someone is buying a house which is an investment. Mineworkers pension fund should reconsider their arrangement with this company because members are not getting joy from them.

MWPF must look at other ways of helping its memebrs because IEMAS is not there help but destroy hopes.
