UNFAIR REPOSSESSED CAR

<p>Dear Sir/Madam</p> <p>I am writing a complaint about a financial institution called IEMAS. On the 29 Feb 2016 they financed my car AUDI A3 TFSI 1.4 Sports bag 2015 and delivered. At that time I was employed by Tshwane Univ of Technology soon after 3 months I lost my Job. I informed IEMAS of my situation and also stipulated that I would be looking for a job but don't have a source of income. They didn't take the car. I made payments through family members and continued to send them proof of payments.I have the invoices and the emails thereof.</p> <p>1st of Feb 2017 I sent IEMAS an email to inform them that I have signed a new contract with UNIV of Pretoria until 2020 and therefore I will able to pay them until I finish my terms, they refused to take my arrangement of R12 000.00 for 6 Months. They told me I owed them R44 000.00 Arrears and I said it is fine I will pay them. As promised I paid R20 000.00 end of FEB. R12 000.00 end of MAR. R4000.00 end of APR. R5.900 end of MAY.</p> <p>I asked them for the settlement amount and the balance of my arrears they never responded and never showed me hoe much I owe them. I have proof of all the communication. On the 12th June 2017 an unemployed sheriff from Garankuwa came and took my car and the sherrif in my jurisdiction confirmed that he doesn't know him. The car had a full tank, my documents, my music collection, money, and I was not awarded an opportunity to take my stuff from the car. I live in Acardia why was an unemployed Sherrif sent to my work place? and why did they take the car when I had paid R42 000.00 to date? As we speak they sent me a letter of valuation saying they are selling my car for R165 000.00 and the car is worth R350 000.00.</p> <p>This ordeal has re arranged my life I moved to La Montagne and I have a baby girl who goes to crech daily and I use it to travel to work Steve Biko/ University of Pretoria and use it to go to the Cluster Meetings and the District meeting now I am unable to perform my duties. My child suffers as I am unable to pick her up from Crech.</p> <p>I need your intervention and help.</p>
