The competency of iemas staff is questionable

Had a vehicle loan, it was repossessed in 2011. After repossession no communication. In 2014 when I app**** for a loan I found out there was still outstanding amounts owed to iemas. Dougie Watters agreed to allocate all payments made towards iemas to the microloan and to write off vehicle loan as bad debt. With this being said Iemas owes me an amount of R12819.09 but was only willing to pay me back R8897.13 which I did not accept as this is a difference of R3921.96. Due to this Mr Dougie Watters retracted his agreement to write off the vehicle loan as bad debt and threatened to continue claims against me. Mr Dougie Watters has also confirmed that the statement provided to me in 2014 was incorrect. The competency of iemas staff is questionable. This matter has caused a bad reflection on my credit rating.

It is always at Specialised Collections Team and always the same result. It is @ months and to date NO ONE has been in contact to resolve this matter. AGAIN Mr. Dougie Watters had Agreed to and I Quote "We refer to your earlier email and advise as follows, We has transferred all payments that were allocated to the vehicle account back to the loan account as what it was intended for and have pleasure to advise that the amount of R8897.13 will be refunded once you return the completed attached. We require your banking details ad a copy of your ID before we can proceed with the refund. We await your urgent reply. Kind Regards, Dougie Watters Specialized collections coordinator" The amount that was claimed to be refunded was incorrect as it should have been R12819.09 of which a reconciliation was provided as proof from my side. Iemas then refused to acknowledge and refund the corrected amount. So it does not seem as though Iemas is willing to resolve this matter as mentioned earlier no one has been in contact to date proving the questionability of Iemas staff competency.

Now that the credit ombudsman is involved, Iemas is now presenting documents which I have been requesting for since 2014. Still not all documents that were requested though. At least they have admitted that they wrote the vehicle off as bad debt and that the statements provided to me as their client are incorrect. They are still only willing to reimburse me with what they have decided is the correct amount which I still do not accept as they owe me much more!
