Read Small Print Bunch of Sharks

I am extremely upset about a claim i put in recently, My son was involved in an attempted highjacking where some dear chaps put rocks across the road and they were sitting in the culverts with firearms so my son went across the rocks and managed to get away, however he burst all four tyres and damaged all four rims, I then put in a claim for an amount of R6400 for a total of four tyres and four rims. I waited four days for people to come back to me then i eventually got a call to say my excess would be R3000 plus another R2500 as my son is under 21 and then another R2500 as he has had his licence less than 3 years, how can someones age affect a highjacking it is so annoying and pathetic, they will try and get out of every claim with small print,, i almost pay the amount i claimed in two months of payment ,, Pathetic service ,, I cannot believe with all the small print my excess will be more than my claim.
