Bad Service from Iemas

I have a personal loan with Iemas which I took sometime in 2013. At the beginning I was paying my loan with no problems until I got to a period where I had financial problems and couldn't pay my loan as per my agreement with Iemas.

My account was then handed over to Legal and I was blacklisted as well.

I contacted Iemas last year with an intention of making a payment arrangement and I was referred to some Legal company that have now taken over my debt. I made a payment arrangement with this company and started making payment from last year.

Everything has been going smoothly until this year where I have decided to settle this loan and requested my statement from Delport Van Den Berg (Debt collection Company).

I requested for a statement on the 03.03.2020 and sent numerous follow ups with no luck. I contacted the company and I was told that they are still waiting for Iemas to provide them with my statement.

On the 1st of April I received an email from Iemas (announcement to all clients re the COVID-19) whereby the company was confirming it's availability during the lockdown period. I then saw an opportunity to send my request for a statement to that email address. My query was then forwarded to the relevant department.

I the received response on that same day whereby I was asked to provide my details which I did. To my surprise on the 3rd of April a guy by the name of Jacob Sabela sent me an email requesting for the same details I provided. I gave Jacob my details and he promised that he will be assisting me going forward.

I waited and waited until the 16th of April, where I decided to send Jacob a follow up email and till this day I haven't received any feedback from Iemas. My account was debited on the 25th and till this day I do not know what am I paying for as I don't get any correspondence with regards to my statement.
