On Friday the 15th, I had anticipated it to be an incredibly joyous occasion as I had recently purchased a car and obtained financing through Imas. However, to my dismay, the car unexpectedly broke down on the very same day while I was on Mabopane Highway. I promptly contacted my insurance company, who arranged for the car to be towed back to the dealership. Subsequently, I engaged in a conversation with a gentleman by the name of Heinrich Vanbiljon, who represented the dealership. Expressing my dissatisfaction with the service received, I expressed my desire to terminate the contract with their establishment. Mr. Vanbiljon assured me that he would contact the dealership and promptly inform me of their decision. Regrettably, he failed to follow through on his commitment, and upon reaching out to him the next day, he informed me that he had indeed spoken with the dealership and that they would be in touch with me. However, upon seeking confirmation from the individuals at the dealership, they stated that Heinrich had not communicated with them at all. Despite my attempts to contact Mr. Vanbiljon via email, I have yet to receive a response, and a whole week has now passed. I am left uncertain whether they are deliberately waiting for the cooling off period to expire so they can claim that I canceled the contract late, or if there is another reason behind their lack of communication. To put it frankly, I find this kind of treatment to be wholly unacceptable.
