Am I a member or not????

Member of IEMAS now called IMAS for more than 20 years. Have a current credit card with them. When applying for a personal loan I am informed that they can not assist because my current employer do not have an agreement with them. Why would the same rule then not apply for the credit card? Credit is credit! I have to know that management was willing to take my reserves as guarantee. However I have to fill in an application to apply to be a member again. Note: it was me that mentioned they have my reserves as guarantee. They don't even know that!!!
