Judged on my salary for poor affordability!

Hi, I think it is so unfair! I recently app**** for uncapped wifi with iBurst, I am with Mweb on 5GB contract but I have a big family so 5GB is not sufficient. I was totally blown away when I was declined due to affordability! Only my salary was taken into account however neither my husbands salary nor our extra income was taken into consideration! Besides the fact that I am a 39 year old married woman with 3 children who knows how to work with my expenses I am also in the finance sector so I take it very personally that I was declined due to affordability! How can it be fair to judge me on my salary when I was not first asked if I have any other sources of income besides my salary? In no way can that be an accurate decision made based on partial facts! I am very disappointed! If in way they are afraid that I would be a non payer why not contact for references? I informed the sales person that I am currently with Mweb but that 5GB was not sufficient since I have a big family! Just imagine what life would be like if everybody went around making such assumptions with half facts!!
