Wrong advice

I went to Hyundai EL to get my car light checked/ sorted and I was told by the parts dept person to buy a bulb that cost over R3 000. When the bulb arrived I was called to come in to fit it. It was found out it is actually not the bulb that needs replacement. When I ask what I should do with the expensive bulb I was told they don't take parts back. And also I was supposed to have booked my car in to check the light instead of the walk in to the dealership. All of these rules were only communicated after the bulb was paid for.

I need to see an electrician and will be paying to replace the balaster and not the bulb as initially suggested by the dealership.... What now with unused bulb that cost over R3 000
