Urgent Assistance Required: Delay in Hyundai i10 2023 Fuse Box Replacement

To anyone considering Hyundai under the impression that it’s a reliable South African brand, I urge you to reconsider. My experience with Hyundai has been nothing short of frustrating. After waiting over 60 days for a simple fuse box replacement on my Hyundai i10, with no clear communication or solution, I’ve been left stranded and financially strained. If sourcing basic parts takes months, it raises serious concerns about their service and support. Think carefully before choosing Hyundai—you may face the same struggle. I am deeply disappointed with Hyundai South Africa and the service I’ve received. My Hyundai i10 has been with the repairer, Autobon, for over 60 days, simply waiting for a replacement fuse box. This delay has not only caused immense frustration but has also taken a significant toll on me financially. Despite being without my car for almost three months, I have had no clear resolution or support from Hyundai.

To make matters worse, my insurance took back the courtesy car, leaving me stranded, even though my vehicle is still not fully repaired. I was forced to take my car in its current state because no one seems willing to assist further. It’s unbelievable that I’ve been waiting this long for something as simple as a fuse box. Why do we choose Hyundai if we are going to struggle this much just to get basic parts? This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I am urging Hyundai SA to address this issue immediately. I spoke to their customer care consultant helen yesterday, sent a mail and still haven't heard anything from them.
