(un) Happy Hyundai Owner

I have had similar shocking treatment. My wife bought an i10 last year and because she only drives 1.2 km's to work, this vehicle had only done 6300km's in the year. Now the problem. She booked it in for a service, not realizing that the car was a whopping three months over the 1 year service time. Result = Liquid Capital refuses to have the car serviced for free AND Hyundai are quite ok with this. Apart from calling twice to enquire about my problem, the local agents did nothing to assist me. I contacted Hyundai SA myself, was given the run around that they will look into it, I *****ed after a week, only to be told that they are short staffed and I must wait. Promises of getting back to me have been broken twice, as I had to call back to get feedback. I have been a loyal Hyundai supporter since about 2002, but this has certainly left a bitter taste. As I write this, there has still not been any feedback re my request to re consider. My point is this: if my car has a service every year, it will have had it's 100 000 km service with only 25 000 km's on the clock. Makes no sense to me, but ja well no fine, we live in Africa and must learn to take it on the chin! No, not me. Motor Industry /ombudsman will be my next port of call.
