Told me to go to my own mechanic
What a joke! My car is less than 50 000km. Purchased with a service plan. I had no idea the service plan included free services and believed that it simply extended my warranties. Not only did they charge for my service, they then told me to go to my own mechanic when the clutch gave in issue. In my experience, and those who own one within my office, do not but an i10. ******* car, bad service and lack of honouring of a service plan.

11 Dec 2017, 14:56Got a response from Hyundai plumstead.
Told me my warranty is void as I brought in the car late for a service. I was not informed the service was included in a service plan. If I had known it was included in my deal I would brought the car in.
So - I paid this dealership for a service they never gave me. No proactive action taken by this provider to ensure I get the benefits of what I have signed for.
The best one is this....... They sold me a service plan, but when the car went in for a service plan they have no way of knowing it has a service plan unless someone tell them.
SOMETHING IS BROKEN.

14 Dec 2017, 11:36I do have an update here. It turns out that what has broken on the i10 would not have been covered by warranty anyway. So the warranty issue is no longer the issue. The far damning issue is this; a key seal behind the crankshaft on an i10 with less than 50 000km on the clock has leaked requiring the replacement of a clutch kit, fly wheel and seal. This all after a service less than 4000km ago at Hyundai Plumstead. So finally, and in summary, the far more damning issue is that this car is *******.
