Stay far away!!!

I am utterly disgusted with Hyundai South Africa. Buying a car for your first time should be exciting instead they have put to me in tears every day for over two weeks. They have displayed actions of deception, dishonesty and disrespect. Even knowing my discontent with their service and even contacting the CEO, they still refuse to help. NEVER EVER buy from Hyundai! See story:

I went to Hyundai Cresta with the intent to purchase a 2018 Kona demo model. The same day I test drove the vehicle, I signed the offer to purchase and was verbally quoted a R5800 premium. A day later, my premium changed to R6100. I then insisted that R6100 was not ideal and I would prefer a lower rate. Subsequently, I asked the F&I lady to relook at the deal. I then received an email that quoted R6808 per month and she said that there was nothing she could do about it. I decided to get hold of an external F&I manager and that is when I found out that Hyundai added an extra R21 000 maintenance plan to my deal without my consent. I was horrified. This would explain why the premium was so high. I told them to remove the additions immediately. A few days later, I was quoted another premium, which I was happy with, provided that I pay in extra for the deposit, which I did. I then arranged insurance for the new car and took my trade-in off insurance. On my way to collect the vehicle, I received a call from the dealership manager stating that the bumper of the car has been cracked and I must now wait up to two, probably three weeks for the vehicle. How could an accident like this suddenly happen the exact moment I am about to pick my car up? I asked Hyundai to provide me with the panel beaters name and they refused. I then asked them to send photos of the damage to the vehicle and the salesman switched off his phone. Hyundai left me completely in the dark and customer service was hardly of any help. The CEO just ignored my requests for help. Subsequently, I canceled the deal and asked for my R11 000 deposit back. 6 days have passed, and I still haven’t received my money back yet.
