Shady ********** Dealings

I took my grand i10 in for service Tuesday last week, when the vehicle was returned it was not starting properly, have to hold the key in the ignition for very long, even start the car twice. I went back to them and they told me i have to change the battery myself. we got into an argument about that as i bought the car in working just fine (which Michael and an indian guy that worked on the car vouched for) why must it be that i must now incur the expenses of changing the battery. Eventually, out of desperation for my car to work properly i went and changed the battery, but even after the that it still does not start properly. I went back again and told them the problem is still there. The branch manager merely said sorry for having to pay for a battery and had his technician check the car out. He claims that nothing is wrong with the car but IT STILL DOES NOT START AS IT DID BEFORE I BOUGHT IN INTO HYUNDAI LADYSMITH, and gave me some lame excuse that cars do that, well mine did not ever have such a problem.

On top of this Michael who works in the servicing division even said that 3 days ago another car that had been serviced had the same problem. when imposed with the question what is it that you do wrong or shady that makes all cars bought here have the same problems = no response!! I have had 03 people also tell me that after they had taken their cars to Hyundai Ladysmith for servicing they came back with problems, 03 PEOPLE PLUS THE ONE MICHAEL TOLD ME ABOUT and i am pretty sure if i actually dug deeper there would be more people who have encountered problems with this dealership after servicing.

I am not going to let people take parts from my car or fiddle with things they shouldn't have after paying R3500 for servicing and still be expected to pay to fix other things because of their shady dealing, because they see i am a young female they can just take advantage. NO NO NO!!

Oh and, and my drivers seat window dropped three weeks prior to this incident, it is still under factory warranty so i took to the same guy, Michael who checked it out and said he had to order parts from overseas and he would let us know when they arrived. Three weeks went by and no feedback from Michael. On the day of the service I asked Michael whether the parts have arrived and he said no they have not. But surprise surprise, when i went to pick up the car my window was fixed.

There is a lot of shady business in that workshop or they really need to reevaluate retrain their staff on how to service cars but right now i need my car to be fixed asap!!!

If nothing is done i will most definitely take this matter much much further. HYUNDAI LADYSMITH, HEAD OFFICE I WANT MY CAR TO BE BACK IN THE EXACT SAME CONDITION I BOUGHT IT IN. STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE AND THINK I WILL LAY BACK AND LET YAL DO AS YOU PLEASE
