SERVICE NOT TO BE RECOMMENDED

Two weeks ago i took my ix35 to Hyundai Springfield (Durban) . I spoke to the Manager who informed me that there had been work done on my car by an unauthorised dealer and that the repairs were for my account - R25 000. I immediately contacted the previous owner and he supp**** me with all the relevant invoices for all the parts purchased at Hyundai Durban and the repairs carried out by a Hyundai approved workshop. This then for some reason had to be verified by Head Office and I was eventually informed that Hyundai would cover the repairs. So here we are two weeks later, no repairs have been started yet, and my request for a courtesy car declined. I have yet to be personally contacted by any employee from Hyundai to update me on the progress of my vehicle repairs (The previous buyer supp**** all the repair documents to Hyundai directly and it was only through him that i became aware that Hyundai would honor the warranty). I am extremely suspicious of what type of repairs will be carried out and whether the parts will be merely reconditioned and not replaced. I have also heard from other Hyundai owners that the Springfield branch in particular has a rather dubious reputation. All in all i feel that the service i have been given is Zilch. Rather shabby would you not agree!!!!!
