Service beyond the extra mileage

I called in at the Hyundai Centurion dealership to get a quote on a service for my car. After a very pleasant introduction & a few questions about the car, I was given the quotes. I later phoned the dealership, spoke to the same person who helped me with the quote & booked my car in.

On the day o fthe service, I was again welcomed with a smile & this time offered a cup of coffee while I waited to be attended to. Shortly after I was handed my coffee, I was attended to & I handed over my car keys. Almost as soon as I finished my coffee, I was shown to the shuttle that was going to take me to work. After a pleasant ride, I arrived at work & went about my day. Throughout the course of the day I was kept abreast of the service of the car as the service advisor phoned me often to keep me posted.

The arrangemt was that I would pick up my car after work, before the dealership closed, but murphy's law was at play. So I arrived a little later than planned but I arrived to find cheerful service advisor & clean car waiting for me.

After the administration, formalities & a bit of banter, I drove off a very happy customer.

Now I understand that the mechanic, the driver & the advisor were "just doing their job", but it goes beyond that. Every element & person who played a role in getting my car serviced deserves an ovation for courteousy, professionalism & outstanding customer service.

Giving credit where credit is due ...
