**** dealership
I bought my car at Hyundai Hatfield in July 2019. I took both the service plan and maintenance plan. My service plan is still valid and my maintenance plan ended in July 2022.
I took my car for service last year around November, after the service I was told that my brakes won't last me until the next service. In June I took my car to the dealership for the brakes to be checked. they told me that my brakes are good. On the 7th of Oct, I took my car for service and I was told that my brakes are worn out, so I will have to pay for them to be replaced. I complained and told them that I cannot pay for the brakes that were supposed to be changed in June while my car was still under maintenance plan. They told me that, they could not claim for the brakes because there is a specification (%) for them to claim. I ask them for the report that specifies that the car brakes were still out of claim specification, and to my surprise that the report only says the brakes were good. There was nothing that can be related to the specification. I argued that until the service manager understood my complaint. She asked me to call Liquidcapital maybe they can replace the brake (which I believe was not supposed to be like that) . I did call Liquidcapital and they told me that they know nothing about the specification and they cannot help me because there was no claim submitted by the dealership. I called the dealership, telling them that they have failed me as a customer, and asked them to replace my brake because it is their fault. They ask me to bring my car and they will give me a good deal to replace my brake. The deal they gave me is them paying 50% and I also paid 50%, which it's not fair to me. I expected them to pay 100%.
I believe they did not claim from the maintenance plan deliberately, for their relationship/partnership with Liquidcapital to be strong or something. It looks like the dealership is making money out of our pockets using these plans.
