Safety of Customer is Placed Above Making Money

I bought a Hyundai i10 from We Buy Cars 2 weeks ago and was told by the service consultant that there was no accident damage on the car. Today I took the car for the 30000km service at Hyundai Centurion and my service consultant was Nicolette. She was very helpful and showed me information on the system about the severe damage to the car. When the technician Shaun was about to start the service on the car he noticed a lot of serious damage and safety concerns with the car. Nicolette took me to the workshop and they both discussed the problems with the car. They advised that I rather not do the service and rather take the car back to the seller as it will be a waste of money since the problems with the car are much more serious than the service. They advised me that the car is unsafe to drive and about the Consumer Protection Act and how I am protected by it.

I must say, I have very seldom come across honest people in the commercial world, who would rather do the right thing and do what's best for the consumer than worry about making more money. I really appreciate the help and honesty from both Nicolette and Shaun, and for worrying about my safety rather than me just being another statistic on their business goals. I wish more people in industry could follow this example of good character and ethics.
