Reverse lights
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Cars
The issue that I have experienced was: I bought my car at Hyundai Benoni in September 2019, days later I realized that my reverse light wasn't working. Told the sale agent Eric and he said that he'll get it fixed. I booked my car for service told him about the reverse light and they changed the globe. When collecting the car after service, they told me that the light was replaced but still it's not working. The lady at the service center said that to book my car I need to pay R950.00 and there may be extra charges if there's more damage.
I told Eric and he blue ticked me on WhatsApp, till today, my reverse light isn't working.
I'm so disappointed because I trusted Hyundai and the agent as well. But now that I bought the car, he doesn't care whether my reverse lights are working or not.
I believe that it's not my fault coz I bought a "demo" and they didn't ensure that all lights were working.
So now I'm driving a car that doesn't have reverse lights and I'm paying over R3500.
It occurred on: 30/09/2019
This meant that I'm frustrated and furiously fuming because I can't afford to fix it and now I'm not given the attention I was given I bought the car............
I regret buying the Hyundai i20 because I feel that I'm no longer important after buying your car.
I would like Hyundai to fix my reverse lights so that I can be able to reverse knowing that motorists behind me are aware when I'm reversing.
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.
Yours faithfully,
Casild Sind Shabangu
