I am writing to raise a concern regarding a recent service carried out at Hyundai Germiston. During the service, the wiper blades on my vehicle were replaced, and I was subsequently billed an amount of R980 for this item. While I understand that wiper blades are considered a wear-and-tear component and may require replacement from time to time, I find the cost charged to be significantly higher than standard market pricing. Based on my understanding, the average cost for a set of quality wiper blades ranges between R200 and R400, even for premium brands. As such, the amount charged appears excessive, particularly given the minimal labor involved in fitting.
