Reckless Driving
at approximately 16:45pm I was on my way to fetch my wife car from Hyundai harbour view, I stopped the robot at Anton Lembede and cato street, one street away ( +-100 meters) and notice my wife car being driven pass ND 599 656, I was appalled and devastated to see in manner in which the car was being driven. The person that test drove the vehicle was reckless and pulled every gear until it threw out clouds of smoke as he was speeding all the way back to the dealership. It is raining, the roads are wet and he has no road courtesy or respect for a customer’s vehicle. He could have caused an accident and damaged my vehicle . My wife’s car was sent in for a service and if this is how cars are test driven, it makes me wonder what lack of workmanship and effort is being put into the actual repairs. My wife has never driven her car in this manner and I do not expect someone else to do so especially the dealer that I am entrusting my car with. The car is a 1.4 glide which tells you that it is not meant to be driven fast or raced as when you put more stress a car by reckless driving, the parts lifetime is decreases. The effect of the stress is accumulative and if there are any damages internally with the engine, I wouldn’t know as I’m not a mechanic. Under normally driving the car doesn’t throughout any smoke but now it has.
I have to question what damage has been done that I’m not aware off?
At Hyundai , you’ll advertise a sign stating service specialist, it is this the type of specialist you have? I guess my timing was just right because how many other customers cars are being driven this way?
