Really disappointed in Hyundai
I am a very disappointed customer. Ok so I bought my car last year July and it was included with a 30 000km maintenance plan. I drove my first 15k by Feb and took it for a service. I'm due for my next service now and they say I'm not on the system. So when I had a look on my paperwork it does not state anything about the maintenance plan being for my 30 000km and 45000km service. But leave that here's where the problem comes in. When I bought the car, it was 26500km and hyundai had did the 30k service on it then before I purchased. So when I purchased it already had the service. So upon doing the deal I asked them when does the plan commence and they told me from the time I finance it. So when checked out the service book and saw that they already did the 30k service and that my next service was due at 41k(this is for the 45k service) they told me it's ok. Now I book my car in they tell me my name isn't on the system. So I got hold of the guy who had did the financing deal and he was trying to explain he's own things to me, so I gave him 3 days to sort it out. Then my husband goes there Thursday and he gives my husband the story about the maintenance plan being for the 30k and 45k service. So when hubby came home and told me this, I was fuming because I didn't even have the car when they did the 30k service so how can I be liable for it. So I went there and the more he's trying to make me understand he's point, all I could ask was explain to me why was this 30k service included in the financial deal knowing very well that I had not did it and even if I bought it at 26500k was I suppose to drive 3000km and service it knowing full well that it was serviced already and that I was only due at 41k, eventually when I started requesting for his manager then the truth came out. He said that the salesman didn't inform him about the car being serviced by hyundai already so he didn't load it up on the system because the plan initially only covers the 2 services and now I'm due for 60k which is a major service and they don't cover majors. So I requested a credit on the 30k service and I'm willing to pay the difference for the major. He called this place called liquid something and spoke to someone, then sent a email to someone from there to give authorization for the credit and promised to get back to me my Friday. Friday nothing came from him, Saturday I emailed him and he said that he's still waiting, so I told him to follow up and he said he put it as urgent when he sent the email the time I was there. My problem has started from the 30th of November, I been in constant contact with the financial guy and I received a follow up email on the 13th Dec stating that the request to credit the 30000km was declined and was escalated further. While this continues, my car is still in usage because I use it for work.
