Poor Service

I contacted a Salesman from Hyundai South Coast, Calvin regarding the purchase of a Vehicle, We settled on a Hyundai Grand i10 as he said to me that its not much difference with installments from a brand new and a second hand. He gave me the details of the car and what it came with. Told me it came with 7year warranty which was only the parts and then 3year service plan, central locking, aircon, abs , power steering, and smash and grab. i accepted the offer and that i also get a R15000 cash back. the day i went to pick up the vehicle, the salesman told me tracker was installed and how it worked. Then another guy approached me from Netstar and told me that i need to sign these forms for the tracker and a monthly installment of R169 will be deducted. that was ok.

i then went to Derick for the signing of the contract, he explained the amount and the installements and then said to me that sratch and dent was added becuase of keeping the car in brand new condition and that it will be a monthly charge. which i agreed and signed the deal.

a few weeks later i had a chance to look at the copy emailed to me.. due to my baby being very sick for 3 weeks it was hectic and i didnt get a chance, but when i did look at the contract, i see i was charged for tracker, i immediately called the salesman to ask him, he told me he will check for me.. then i aske dhim again about it.. he then said he will get the guy to call me back, eventually he told me the charge was for the tracker, so i asked him why should i pay for traker on my finance and then still pay them monthly R169 , he said he will check and got back to me saying it was a charge for the fitment of the tracker.

i then said i wanted to cancel it as i checked around for cheaper priciing on the tracker, then it took forever to get the refund sorted for the tracker device. eventually Justin the sales manager contacted me and said they they will do it and i queried with him the other charges there, he himself didnt know what it was for, then found out and told me it was for scratch and dent and the smash and grab and then i saw i was also financed for the service plan.

all of this was not discussed with me, neither was i asked if i wanted these items to be financed or paid for cash at the least. why should i pay for these extra's and that too on terms,

someone needs to sort this out soon as the dealership says i was made aware and that i signed the contract.

yes i signed an electronic contract and was not told the details of the exrta's that would be financed.

i should have been asked if i wanted to pay cash, the price cash, or if i wanted to check around for cheaper prices or if i wanted it financed, that is all that i am saying. this is completely unfair, and i am left to pay for it, so in other words the R15000 cash back, teh dealership gets it from the extra's and that too on finance..

this is utter nonsense and a total *******..
