Peeling Paint pandemic - stay away from a white Hyundai (any model)

I bought a used white 2018 Hyundai Tucson in 2023. I 2024 I noted a few white Hyundai Tuscons with a peeling paint on the bonnet area. January 2025, the paint on my vehicles bonnet area started peeling. I made contact with Hyundai South Africa to inform them about this issue. They downright rejected and informed me that paint warranty expires after 5 years. I asked further whether a peeling paint in cars is normal, she said she has no opinion on that. She advised that I contact the ombuds if I have an issue.
