Once Sale is Made and Money is in, Don't expect that level of service ever again.

To Summarize The below Experience with Hyundai Umhlanga: - 1 year old Hyundai Venue (Top Version of it) starting to rust, this in itself is SHOCKING and the fact that nothing is done about this is disgusting. - I brought car in to be sorted - Was told that it 'sometimes happens with Hyundai's' - This is lovely and very informative, and I think it should be told to customers as proudly when they are deciding whether to buy a Hyundai. - Inspectors did not find the rust and I was told to take the car back (Just let that sink in....the people who inspect the car couldn't find the rust that was there...and these guys inspect the car to find more? but...they cant even find the rust thats there?) - This.....is absolutely shocking. The inspectors told me there was no rust... the fact that they couldn't find the rust is VERY concerning, how good of an inspection is done on the rest of the car if they couldn't find the current rust? How confident can you possibly be that there is no more rust on the vehicle? VERY concerning, yet? they will continue to provide that level of service to Hyundai customers and its ok? - So I show them (service department) where the rust is, they apologize and tell me they will contact the inspectors and they will come to me to sort. - I just never hear anything back. - I followed up with Hyundai Umhlanga to find out what's actually happening, to which they dont know what im talking about, so i have to explain everything again. The inspectors phoned me, and arranged to meet on the Next Tuesday at my work. I make a plan to be at the office that day...do they show? nope, do they contact me? Nope. - I followed up again with Hyundai umhlanga....no reply or response after reading my message. - I leave it a day or two and message Hyundai Umhlanga AGAIN and get told sorry they don't know what it's in regards to....i explain again...they say sorry and that they will follow up. Have I heard anything since then? Of course not. - Someone from Hyundai phones me after i send all the above information to Hyundai and say i am going to post it online to hopefully get action. They do not tell me what their role is, but assure me this is NOT how Hyundai run, or manage their customers and it will be handled that same day. - Panel beaters make an appointment, so i make a plan to stay home.....and alas, they do not call nor do they show up. - I contact them, a few days later to be told they closed and will see me in the new year, no explanation, nothing. - I..... explain AGAIN and for the third time, request a managers details from Hyundai. I am told they think the panel beaters are closed but they still awaiting confirmation......that was a day ago....I can find out that exact same information is 2 seconds by contacting the panel beaters?

Overall massively disappointing experience with Hyundai Umhlanga, and to be honest the Vehicle rusting after this amount of time and nothing being done is actually disgusting. I remember having a discussion at Hyundai Umhlanga when buying my car how disgusting it was that my trade in vehicle was starting to rust and it was 4-5 years old and how shocked they were that it was rusting after that duration...The dealer laughed and i quote stated 'Well you wont have that problem with Hyundai' , we he was right, because it didnt take 4 to 5 years, it took 1. He failed to use the line 'Well Hyundai's can rust are known to rust within 1 year from time to time' ..Yet I am told when bringing in my Hyundai rusting after a year that 'It sometimes happens'.
