Non Disclosure

On 27 April 2022, I took possession of my Grand i10 1.25 Fluid M/T MY18 2019 model @ 52701 kms, from the Hyundai Paarl Branch. In June 2022 I notice that my coolant level keeps were dropping and that I had to fill up my coolant reservoir regularly. 7 July 2022 I took it back to Hyundai Paarl Workshop and upon return of the vehicle, thy could not advise as to what the problem was and all checks showed up negative. Miraculously, my levels never dropped after that visit. with My 75000 service done at Hyundai Belville on 29 June 2023, I requested a report on my VIN number and low and behold the report made sense and even more information I could figure out from this report. I concluded that my vehicle was in and accident. But this was not disclosed to me by the dealer. The following details made it evident: - I noticed my front and back bumper colours were different the sun started discolour the bumpers which to me indicates the the vehicle rammed into someone and someone also rammed into the back. - My windscreen was not a Hyundai windscreen - so I assume this also had to be replaced as my wide recently had hers replaced to do a stone that came off a truck onto her windscreen and the service provide wanted to know if she wanted a generic or original Hyundai windscreen - The VIN report indicated that the Radiator was replaced - I now have a further issue where all my rubber of the windows are just perishing - My wife has the same vehicle which she purchased about a year before mine and her rubbers are still in perfect condition. What gripes me is that I tried calling Hyundai South Africa on numerous occasions - but to no avail. Until a friend of mine said: "why don't you put it on 'Hello Peter' " So almost two years later I find out these issues based on this VIN report. And wanting to query this Hyundai South Africa, I just gave up cause I just cannot get hold of them. The sad thing is, seeing that I am from Mitchell's Plain, I thought that purchasing a vehicle from Hyundai Paarl, a so-called better option to buy from, with the idea that they will be honest dealers, in relation to dealers near to where I reside. I thought they would somehow give me a good ethical service, but I have realised that it doesn't matter where you buy from, it is just all about the money and messing people around to get it. The vehicle looked spotless upon receipt and I thought WOW. But now after 2 years, I have come to the conclusion I am just another victim of ******* sale.
