No product backup after purchase

On 22 December we took delivery of a Hyundai i10 2013 model with 23000km on the clock and were assured that the 125 point had been carried out on the vehicle. A few days later we noticed that the spare wheel was damaged beyond repair and that one of the tires had a bubble in the sidewall. This in spite of the fact that the car had just been through a roadworthy and Hyundai's 125 point check which specifically covers these items.

On 13 Jan a crack appeared in the windscreen which was not related to a stone or chip on the surface. When taking it back to Hyundai East Rand their sales manager said that they have never seen anything like this and that the damage could be caused by extreme temperature conditions (which did not take place) or hitting a pothole.

When I pointed out that the tyre damage indcated that hitting a pothole was the probable cause, I was told that any such damage would be evident immediately after hitting the pothole and that they cannot be held repsonsible this damage on wear and tear items.

This is poor service as a returning customer to this dealership after many years, I am extremely dissapointed.
