Lying to make sales

In 2017, I was interested in buying a Skye Blue Hyundai i20. After arranging to have a look at the car, the sales person brought the car to me at the office to look at. I saw that the paint did not exactly match on two of the doors, and asked him about this, where he rep**** "it's just the pearl paint combined with the angle you are standing at giving off that appearance. There was no work done on this car, and it wasn't in an accident bro". Which, at the time, made sense, as the paint did not look different from all the angles. Now, we are in 2017, and I am struggling to trade in this car, as the inspectors from various other dealerships have picked up that the whole car has been re-sprayed at a stage, and it was not even done properly. I am standing at a point of losing R50 000 on a car because the sales person **** just to make the sale. I went to the dealership and told them what happened. They looked like they really want to help me and help me get the new car I am waiting for. The sales manager promised me on last week Wednesday that he would have an answer for me by Friday. I had to phone them on Friday afternoon to only hear that they are waiting for an answer from one or another dealership. I have since made three follow-up calls to them, with no positive feedback. They have not phoned me since and it looks like they are just going to never speak to me again. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service from what I thought was a well respected branch and brand.
