Lodged a complaint to Hyundai SA about Hyndai Centrurion...still no response. They all dont care! My car could be ****** by now.

I am very disappointed and frustrated with the service i received from Hyundai Centurion. Early April, I brought in my vehicle for a full service. The car was running well and just had a few issues to be looked at and fixed. Problems which i indicated to the admin lady was the following: Heater not working, loud and annoying sound occurs when i press my brake pads, oil leak and water not coming out when i want to clean my windscreen. The lady advised that we do a major service as the car had a high milleage and the fact that i did not have a service history from the time i bought the vehicle from the previous owner. I agree as i felt that a thorough job was necessary to be done as i use the car for work and i travell a lot with it. I also felt that if the service was done by its own team and company, they would be able to do a brilliant job and ensure that my car is in good condition. The total cost came to just below R14 000, which stressed me a lot as i did not have such money to pour all of it to a car service. None the less, i agreed as i trusted the dealership to give me the best service. The service was suppose to take not longer than 2 days, however when i followed up on the collection of the vehicle, i was given story after story. I remained patient as i thought they must be ensuring that i receive it back in the best condition. The car was kept for the service for almost 2 weeks. This was really starting to irritate me as i was unable to do my daily work which is to visit clients. I advised the lady that this is starting to get out of hand as i had initially indicated to them that i cannot do my job without my car. Soon after, i was told that my vehicle was ready for collection. Excited, i went to collect the car. After testing the car for about 3 days or so, i noticed that the heater is still not working, the oil leak had become worse, the water was still not coming out for cleaning my windscreen, there was a funny sound and smell coming from the engine, worse the car was letting out a whole lot of smoke from the exhaust. That following week, i had to attend a week's conference so i could not go to the dealership. Soon after the conference, i took the car back. That same morning, i thought i should also check water and oil. To my surprise, the petrol attendant told me that the car needed 2 bottles of oil. i was surprised as the car recently went for a service, yes the oil was still leaking, however i have never had to pour 2 bottles at once in such a short space. Nonetheless, i took the car back to Hyndai Centurion. Firstly, I only got helped after about 40 minutes and another 40 minutes before the service guy came throuh. He did not event check the car. He simply spoke aftrikaans to the admin lady advising her of what the possible reasons are. the lady translated back to me and said i should bring back the car, however she will not be available on Thursday and Friday (which were the days i thought i could possibly bring the car as Friday i was going to work from home to do reports). They just did not take my frustration seriously. i then told them i would bring the car back on Saturday as i will have transport then. I was not given a good service, but rather a whole lot of excuses for their bad work. i knew they were lying to me and i knew they were not taking me serously as i had no clue about engines and cars. Oh and on the day i had returned the car, another service guy who was just passing past my car, noticed that my rear shockes were finished, he immediately spotted this and told me. he actually thought i was bringing in the car for a service and siad i must advise the team. i told him this car is from a service, however they did not spot that and advise me? He gave me a confused as he proceeded to doing what he was doing. Saturday morning whilst on my way to see a client, the brake and battery lights went on, i was not sure what was going on as the service guy indicated that the noise coming from the brakes was because there was dust between the brake pads and plates, which i did not believe one bit. One of the younger service guys did check the brakes on that day and assured me that the brakes were still fine and that he had cleaned the dust, however the noise persisted. When i was about to leave the client, i started the car whilst we were saying our goodbyes i was actually telling them how dissatisfied i am with the service i got from Centurion and the new tricks my car was up to ever since it came back from the dealership. Before i could even finish my story my car simply stopped. The exhaust was letting out a whole lot of smoke. The guys tried to kick start it as now, it was not onning at all. The car would run for about a minute and stop again. When we opened the bonnet, there was smoke coming out from the engine. My car simply died because someone from Centurion was negligent. I had to leave the car at the hospital, George Mukhari Hospital as it did not have the power to move. Please can ‪#‎Hyundai SA take this matter up with Centurion. They need to tow my car from the hospital and fix it. They can take their time as i paid a lot of money for it, whist doing that, i urgently need a courtesy vehicle as in yesterday. Please can this matter be resolved urgently. My telephone number ***. thank you

Hi I have received a call from Hyundai Centurion. And as anticipated, Jan from the dealership blatantly and unashamedly told me that the dealership will not be towing my vehicle as they do not have towing vehicles or unless my car had a service plan/warranty. I told him that this is now their problem and they must solve it. He also advised me that it is impossible to give me a courtesy vehicle as he has nothing available. I am now going to spread this on my social media to warn everyone against #HyundaiSouthAfrica

I have just received another call from Hyundai Centurion again, from Jan, advising me that he spoke to Neil from Head office who confirmed that there is no towing vehicle in the whole of Hyundai to collect my vehicle. 1. my car was running before it went to Hyundai. 2. I paid R14000 to Hyundai Centurion only to kill my car. 3. Hyundai SA has not bothered to call or intervene/accept to ask for my telephone number 4. I was told there is not towing vehicle, I must pay a towing company myself to fix their problems.5. there is no courtesy vehicle for me whilst they are the one who messed up my car.
