Incorrect Car registration documents - Refilwe Dlamini, ***
The matter bears reference,
I received/collected the Hyundai Tucson I purchased from Hyundai Woodmead on the 25 July 2019 but to date I have not received correct certficate of car registration document.
I received a photo of incorrect certification of registration document from Hyundai Woodmead on the 07 August 2019 and immediately discovered that the Owner’s ID Number is incorrect not my ID Number with name of owner ommitted.
It must be noted that I have car allowance and I am obliged to inform the employer that I have changed cars and I have to provide cerrificate of registration document as soon as the car is in my possession. My employer has been following up with me since I purchased the car on registration document but I have been able to provide. They have a right to take away car allowance since I do not have document from Department of Transport confirming what I am telling them.
I see this as very poor customer service - to start with, such a mistake should not have occurred. How is it that the car I bought and will be paying for is registered with someone else’s details.
I am not happy driving the car knowing that there are no registration documents. Hyundai Woodmean has really compromised me. What was supposed to have been a joyous occassion no longer is.
What about insurance? The car is not registered in my name. I no longer want to drive this care, I am not comfortable driving the car.
I am wondering if this matter is receiving the urgent attention it deserves.
