i20 Hyundai paint peeling

I have a 13 year ols i20. Paint has been peeling for years. I was not made aware in ANY way that Hyundai knows very well that 2011 - 2017 models have this problem. After a huge fight, they said they would pay 50% of the respray. Why do I have to pay half ? There are cars 20 and 30 years old on the road with their paint intact ? Bad bad bad service. Worst after care. DONT BUY A HYUNDAI !!
