I20 Hyundai Advert - A Mockery

I am upset with the latest advert for the Hyundai I20 (Friends for Life) which is viewed continually throughout the day while we work.

I only drive Hyundai's, having purchased my new Tucson in November last year, Santa Fe prior to that so i think it is fair to say that Hyundai is my choice of brand. I have always found the advertising for Hyundai to be professional and in good taste.

The recent advert where the woman is looking for a man only to find he has a squeaky voice and then to move on and mock the way he talks, amongst "friends" has been done in extremely bad taste.

We live in a country where people are offended by the smallest of things and considering this country is where it is, i strongly believe that this advert is allowing mockery of a trait of an individual and then laughing about it. There are people out there with genuine issues pertaining to voice boxes, the way they talk, etc and have been bul**** for this, some for many years. For Hyundai to allow something like this, considering our stance on anti-bullying, anti-******, anti-***ism and every other anti we are working towards, this truly is the least professional advert done in a long time. The slogan Friends for Life is meaningless because true friends wouldnt allow such a mockery to take place.

I hope that somebody sees the seriousness in which the advert portrays rather than look at it humorously
