I feel ****med and taken advantage of.
Me and my partner purchased a 2023 Renault kwid last year October, which had around 9000km on the clock.we were so happy because it was our first vehicle. Not knowing after 2weeks of owning the vehicle ,it would give us problems. Everytime we would travel for more than 60kms it would automatically go into limp mode. I'd contact my insurance after every breakdown and they would arrange a tow truck and the car would be sent to our nearest Renault dealership which is in Mthatha. And I reside in Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape. After 3 consecutive breakdowns the mechanic from Renault mthatha was able to diagnose the problem with my kwid. He mentioned it was a faulty actuator .A invoice of R25k was the price of the part including labour, fortunately our vehicle is still under warranty, they would only fix my car if the service books were provided, but Hyundai Durban south never provided them ,even after pleading with them. I still call them on a daily basis. I remember Hyundai Durban South also offering to do a full service for me for free ,only on one condition if only I brought the car to them in Durban which means I'd have to travel over 600 km which I found really sketchy and ***** .They have been promising to pay for everything because the car they sold us did not come with the service book. Their call centre does not pick up my calls ,Their sales consultants are always blueticking me on WhatsApp everytime I want feedback. I need help. I've never been so upset and disappointed in my life.... Their best interest is making money, their customers courtesy is horrible,as far as I'm concerned
