Hyundai Zambesi
My vehicle (Hyundau H1) silver has been with the Montana branch for Two weeks already and I'm extremely disappointed in the outcome till thus far.
I first sent the vehicle for a (Major service) about 3 weeks ago whereby you're company failed to replace my fuel filter as ONE WOULD BELIEVE to be part of a ( MAJOR service )
Shortly after that the vehicle started struggling to start whereby Immediately I called it in and you're company said I should make a plan to get the vehicle back to you're branch. I informed the consultant I Can Not drive as vehicle doesn't want to start whereby I was advised to "make a plan" to get it to there place as they don't send out technicians.
I returned to the branch shortly after that incident asking to speak to a manager as I needed to know why fuel filter was Not replaced ?
I was then shown to service manager who handled the case from there on.
He then informed me that the fuel filter was Not "part of" the Schedule" for my MAJOR SERVICE ( 150 000km ) and that it was (Capital legacy) whom i should sort it out with..
I then contacted capital legacy whom then sent me the following email -
[Good day Thank you for the email. Kindly note that the service plan approves the services AS PER the vehicle SERVICE SCHEDULE and quotation SENT FROM THE DEALER!!!!!!!!!
Please request the dealer to advise of the service schedule and how the services are approved. Kind regards, Tiisetso Ramugadi Customer Care Agent Tel: *** Email: *** www.liquidcapital.co.za]
I then returned to Hyundai to speak to service manager informing him of what they had said, and asked him why he thinks bus is struggling to start and he told me it could be due to old or even pirate fuel filter as his (computer says) there are (No errors) and so he has to replace it.
I then asked him to just sort the bus out and go ahead as I need it urgently and that I would even pay the filter myself also.
He then phoned me later that day saying that he replaced filter but bus still struggling to start, I asked what the problem is now, and he informed me that it has to be dirt in the tank (contaminated fuel) and that they need 4 day's to drop tank and clean system. I said it's fine as long as I can get vehicle back.
He then later on told me that they had opened tank and not found any dirt in tank self rather another compartment but it's sorted out as they cleaned it and his awaiting technician to come in the following week Monday to run further tests but I will have my bus that same week.
I then waited again and Monday came, I went in to branch to see service manager on what the technician said whereby I was told that he is now of sick and the technicians or Nobody Else in workshop can give me Any information on vehicle till service manger gets back or they get a hold of him on phone.
I was then later the afternoon contacted by hyundai and informed that the technician did check vehicle and verdict is that now (glow plugs) need to be replaced and is gonne be another nine to ten thousand odd rands .
Apon receiving this information I PROFUSELY asked the service consultant but (WHAT ABOUT THE INJECTORS) that you're workshop told me need replacing or repairing, she ASSURED ME MORE THAN ONCE on phone call that it's NOT THE INJECTORS as they have TESTED AND CLEANED FROM TANK RIGHT THROUGH and it's DEFINITELY THE GLOW PLUGS (according to there technician AND Service Manager ) and will be 2 more day's then I can definitely have my vehicle. I went in to see Service Manger and he CONFIRMED IT to be so.
So I agreed once again and said please please I just need vehicle back.
I finally received a call from service manager next morning before work whereby he now informed me that glo plugs are in, fuel filter is fitted and tank has been cleaned as agreed apon a,s,f but Once again the vehicle STILL ISN'T WORKING and they now have to strip the whole front in order to remove fuel pump and injectors (WHICH I WAS ASSURED BY THEM IS NOT THE PROBLEM) before replacing my gloplugs..
This is Completely Unacceptable as I went to Hyundai being (The Dealer "Agents") KNOWING "BELIEVING" the job would be done Correctly and Efficiently cause I Can't Afford Anything less..
I've Never had problems with the bus for not even One second BEFORE the service!..
It's now been 2 weeks GOING ON 3 and over R10,000 later and STILL THEY CAN'T SAT WHATS WRONG!!!!!!!
I've now had to have my bus REMOVED BY LOW BED and taken elsewhere ...
